The Bible says, "wives submit to your husbands."
The Bible also says, "every word of Scripture is true."

So if you don't think wives should ALWAYS submit to their husbands, even if you think they're more "competent," then you disagree with the bottom verse, so you believe either God lied or the Bible is not the word of God."

"If he bothers you so much, there's nothing forcing you to respond to him in the first place. I've had my share of debating/arguing with him so I understand how frustrating he can be with the whole, not answering questions, avoiding points, etc kinda thing. The point is being able to check yourself and not letting yourself look foolish. Let Erik's behavior speak for itself because it isn't up to you to pass judgment on how he handles himself in arguments/debates/social situations in general. And I wouldn't say I'm being overbearing. I'd say I'm being one of few people who can look at the situation objectively (because I'm not friends with any parties involved, nor to I have anything invested in any of these arguments) and see that this isn't appropriate. It gets to a point where someone has to be the bigger person and I'm just pointing that out."
