The room was silent, everyone was working, and everyone was moving toward their goals. These students are from the UMBC and the University of Maryland College Park. Past Dissertation Houses have also included grad students from the University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB). Dissertation House sessions are held on UMBC's campus each January and July during semester breaks, and at select times during the academic year.
