A great new resource is available on the HR website. I have developed recruitment/hiring checklists for department use. The checklists are tools to assist hiring departments in the various steps and processes involved with recruitment, hiring and preparing for a new employee.
The checklists are MS Word docs that may be adapted and edited to meet your specific departmental needs. Feel free to add additional steps that your department may have or delete items that do not apply.
You may find it helpful to list the name of the responsible party in your department next to each item. Some departments find it helpful to save the document on a shared drive so those involved have access at all times.
