I am seeking a few volunteers to serve on a hiring work group. This group would be a sub group of the Shared Services Center/Business Process Improvement Work Group.
The Hiring Work Group would be responsible for working on the Business Process Improvement Hiring Quick Hits which include:
Developing HR checklists for hiring tasks
Developing a communication plan
Evaluating the approval signatures required
Discussing the role of HR liaisons
Developing training for HR liaisons
Providing suggestions for streamlining the hiring process
It would be nice to have a representation of volunteers that handle the various types of hiring on campus - staff, faculty, Contingent I, students.
I will be mindful of your time and will try to keep the meetings to a minimum.
