The McNair Scholars Program encourages underrepresented minorities, first-generation college students, and low-income student to pursue doctoral studies. McNair scholars get help and support in finding research, mentoring, and other important preparation for graduate school.
The McNair Scholars Program is a U.S. Department of Education-funded program open to students in all disciplines with at least sophomore standing. For more information contact aprilh@umbc.edu or stop by 211 MP for an application. Application deadline is October 31,2011.
