Northern Arizona University's Department of Psychological Sciences is offering a summer research program on the Social Psychophysiology of Compassion.
***Students will receive a $4000 stipend, a $550 lab allowance, as well as
travel compensation
Students will:
- Collaborate with doctoral faculty on individual research
- Create and present a professional conference presentation
- Have opportunities for manuscript submissions and a year-around paid research internship
- Attend picnics, lunches and have opportunities for recreational travel around Northern Arizona
Program Date: June 4 - August 1, 2016
Application Deadline: March 15, 2016
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or legal residents
- High academic performance
- Students are not allowed to register for additional classes or be employed during the summer program
Application Procedure:

- A statement of your interest for undergraduate research in the social psychophysiology of compassion, as pertaining to your career goals (This may be a Word document and added to the application form where indicated)
Please complete and submit the following through standard mail only:
- Copies of academic transcripts from all colleges/universities attended (Official transcripts will be requested only if you are chosen for the program)
- Proof of measles immunization (will be requested once you are accepted)
- Two letters of reference from professors, advisers, or employers
