The Organization for Tropical Studies from Duke University is providing hands-on, field-oriented research experience for undergraduate students at one of the most important sites for research in tropical biology- La Selva Biological Station in Costa Rica.
The nine-week research program will run from June 9 2016 to August 9 2016.
What kind of research will you do?
The topics range from the ecology and conservation of various organisms to GIS mapping of regenerating forests and behavioral ecology and climate impacts on declining amphibians. You can indicate an area of study that interests you the most (as part of the application process) so that you can be matched with a suitable mentor.
APPLICATION DEADLINE IS JANUARY 31, 2016.
Benefits will include:
- $4000 Stipend for 9 weeks of research

Eligibility:
- U.S Citizens or permanent residents
- Undergraduate students in the field of Biology, Geography and Environmental Science.
