Blue Waters seeks undergrads and mentors for internship program
This NSF-funded project is designed to help prepare the next generation of supercomputing researchers. The Blue Waters project offers paid internships to undergraduate students across the country. To be eligible, students must be enrolled as an undergraduate through spring 2017 at a U.S. accredited, degree-granting institution. Applications must be submitted by Feb. 1, 2016, and notifications will be made by March 1, 2016.
Are you a faculty member who would like to mentor an undergraduate intern in a year-long project about the use of high-performance computing to address problems in the sciences, engineering, or mathematics? Follow the link above to post a description of the internship project you would like to supervise and by Feb. 15, 2016. You will be able to indicate whether the internship is intended for a particular student or is open to all applicants.
