Interested in applying for up to $1,500 from UMBC to support your own creative work, scholarship, or research? You now have a full week to complete and submit your proposal and mentor letter of support. All materials must be delivered to Sherman Hall 114 by 5 p.m. on Monday, March 3.
To take advantage of this extended deadline, let us know that you plan to apply. Just e-mailing mcglynn@umbc.edu. Include that you plan to submit a URA proposal by 5 p.m. on March 3.
Students with strong URA proposals have usually reviewed the proposal with their faculty mentor several times, making revisions each time. Work closely with a mentor to develop the best possible submission.
For staff advice, e-mail Janet McGlynn, mcglynn@umbc.edu with information about your plan or a copy of your narrative.
