How to Write a Personal Statement Workshop Tuesday, 12/10

Come to our "How to Write a Personal Statement Workshop" this Tuesday, 12/10 from 4-5PM in Sherman Hall 114 (Office of Undergraduate Education Conference Room).

The SURF program from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is a great paid opportunity for students in physics, material science, chemistry, applied mathematics, computer science, or engineering. There may be research opportunities for students with other majors.

MOST applications for summer research require this document. All students interested in summer research are invited to attend and learn how to craft a strong statement.
