They will be assigned a faculty mentor and can choose to perform research under one of our research areas or propose a research project of their own (check our website for other exciting research projects):
- Bioinformatics
- Characterization and testing of piezoelectric materials and devices
- Computer architecture, memory systems, and parallel processing
- Development and testing of advanced polymer based materials and composites
- Embedded Computing
- Low Power VLSI Design
- Microwave and Antennas
Eligibility
Our program is oriented towards students who have completed at least two years of study in:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Materials Science and Engineering
A cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher at the end of the Fall 2011 semester is required. Students who will graduate at the end of the Spring 2012 semester are not eligible for this program.
