Here are a few suggestions for how to get started!
- Read prior abstracts. You can check them out at http://www.umbc.edu/undergrad_ed/research/URCAD/URCAD2011.html. You can find them under "Program Details" as "Abstracts - For all presenters."
- Read abstract instructions. http://www.umbc.edu/undergrad_ed/research/URCAD/forms.html contains documents with specifications, checklists, and samples, as well as a document with advice on use of tense in writing about research. There is also another link to view abstracts from URCAD 2010.
- Sign up now to be invited to an early February abstract writing workshop! Send an e-mail to ajiang1@umbc.edu to receive an invitation. Time and location to be determined.
