One of five 18 to 25 year olds experienced a mental illness in the past year. Depression Screening Day helps individuals learn more about mental health and treatment resources. Come to an in-person mood screening on Wednesday, October 1st from 11am-2pmon Commons Main Street. At this event, you can
- Talk with professional staff from the UMBC Counseling Center
- Take a free mood screening and discuss your results with a counselor
- Learn about free workshops, Counseling Center services and the “Just In Case” mental health app
- Pick up flyers about stress, anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties.
