About This Group

The Garden is a hobby and social action organization dedicated to maintaining a community garden on campus as well as addressing problems such as food waste and food insecurity through community service events. We host a variety of seasonal events including plant sales, garden clean-up days, and more!

We welcome all members of the UMBC community (students, staff, faculty, etc.) to join us in growing our garden and our community. No experience is necessary!

Plots are assigned on first come, first serve basis each semester. You MUST confirm use each semester or your plot(s) will be reassigned via e-Board discretion.
