Beginner, Intermediate, or Elite?

As I've heard so far there will be three? groups.
Beginner, Intermediate, and Elite:
Beginner being walkers and walk/joggers.
Intermediate being Joggers and beginning runners. (Mainly staying on campus)
Elite will be more experienced runners, However this group might need to be broken into two different elite groups.
I have offered to help Kyle with the Elite runners as I have had a lot of experience running in the area. My initial thoughts for the elite group is to have a group who wants to leave campus and go for longer runs, 5+, somewhere other than the campus, but to stay more recreational and conversational. This will prob be for people working on first or second marathon or those attempting to get back into shape.
The other group would be for people training for long distance speed. Most likely this group will be doing all runs at 8:00 pace or faster, I don't know what levels of talent will show up.
I'm just interested in seeing what levels we have where.
