Any intermediates thinking about NYC Marathon?

Looking for potential training buddies

Hi, I'm hoping to get going with my running again. Did a couple of half marathons, and got lazy...I'm hoping to get picked for the NYC marathon on Nov 6, 2011. I figure it'll be fate if I get chosen. Of course, I'm sort of freaked out about the notion, but I like to live by the following: "Do something that scares you each day."...Let me know if anyone's interested...sp
