Ten lounge chairs were delivered to the RLC today, along with five ottomans. Some of the chairs have tablets and some do not. Each ottoman is of a different size or shape, ranging from large rectangular to small round. All of this furniture is on wheels, of course.
Yesterday, we received delivery of the tables for the six booths. The booth seating is expected October 3. Also, on Monday or Tuesday we have equipment installations scheduled; we may have to close or partially close the RLC for these installations.
The RLC is experiencing heavy use and there is evidence of a significant shortage of seating. As a temporary remedy for this, until more furniture can be purchased, we are adding to the RLC some additional Jasper chairs from other locations within the library.
