58 task chairs (pictured in thumbnail) and 5 seminar chairs arrived in the Retriever Learning Center on Friday, March 2. They were immediately placed in service and 20 of the temporary Jasper chairs (red oak wood, no rollers) were returned to other Library spaces.
In mid-February, we took delivery of 9 additional whiteboards for the RLC. This gives us a total of 17 whiteboards in the RLC, though one is wobbly and needs repair. Several of the whiteboards in the first delivery have had quality issues. The most notable of these issues has been rubber edging pieces falling off. If you see one of these, please do not discard it, but place it on a table for staff to retrieve.
We still await delivery of 16 tables. They are now projected by the vendor to arrive within two weeks, i.e. before Spring Break. Multiple "inquiries" have been placed regarding why deliveries are late. Once the tables are received, we will be able to return more square tables (the ones without rollers) and the Jasper chairs to the vending area.
