The contractor expects construction of the RLC to be completed on schedule.  This would mean that the campus takes possession of the space on August 30 and it will open to the public on August 31.  Carpet tile installation can be seen ongoing today, through the RLC windows.  We can also get a good sense of the color scheme through the windows, since the painting is largely done. 

Some furniture is delivered and waiting.  For example, there are dry erase whiteboards and two "Fit" chairs at the back of the reference room.  Additional furniture will be delivered by the end of August.  A few pieces of furniture will be delivered late, probably by mid-September, including the tables and bench seating for the booths.  Consequently the installation of computer and AV equipment will take place the week of September 12.
