Nearly 8,000 square feet of the Library's first floor will be cleared by the close of business on May 26, 2011 to make way for the start of Retriever Learning Center construction May 31. The Library will be closed May 26 - 30.
While some furniture and shelving in this area may have to be moved before the end of finals to meet this schedule, most of the tables and chairs will remain in place for study through May 19.
From May 31 through mid- to late- August, the RLC will be blocked off for construction. If all goes according to plan, furniture will be installed during the last week of August and the RLC will be open for business at the beginning of the Fall semester.
