98 people attended the UMC Telescope Open House on Thursday night between 7 and 9 PM. The participants listened to a brief lecture on Meteor showers. After the talk, small groups climbed the stairs to see the telescope and hear a brief explanation as to how the telescope works. The younger guests participated in a hands-on activity related to Comets and Meteor showers.
