Maryland Student Legislature is a student model of Maryland’s legislative branch – the Maryland General Assembly. We provide students with the opportunity to voice their political interests and opinions by researching, writing, lobbying, and debating legislation. It is a fantastic opportunity for students to get some hands on experience in learning about the policy-making process, lobbying, the roles politicians play, parliamentary procedure, and Maryland state politics and government. The bills we pass are forwarded to the Maryland General Assembly for consideration.
Join us during the Fall 2023 semester in PAHB Terrace Lobby on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30!
