Robbie Oehrli earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and then his MAT at UMBC. He is now a PLTW teacher at Catonsville High School. His article in the September 2016 issue of Technology and Engineering Teacher (vol 76, issue 1) described the use of instant design challenges to create a more student centered learning environment and to introduce new engineering concepts.
