Elyse Hill is spending her summer "vacation" conducting research in Engineering Education at Utah State University. Under the guidance of Dr. Ning Fang, Elyse is studying the effects of students' self-regulation on their conceptual understanding in engineering dynamics. This REU program brings in students from across the country to engage in qualitative and quantitative research in engineering and computing education. Elyse, a CWIT Scholar, has served as an undergraduate teaching fellow in many ME courses and plans to pursue graduate studies upon her graduation in May.
