About This Group
'Major Definition' was originally founded as a competitive hip-hop team in 2005. Now in its 20th year M.D has competed and performed at venues across the DMV. If joining the team is not your style weekly public classes open to dancers of all skill levels are held every Monday night.
Major Def encourages students of the dance and hip-hop community to pursue and further develop their talents both in individual and group choreography, freestyle, and performance. Whether you audition for the team, attend public classes for fun, or prefer to be in the audience rather than on stage, Major Def offers opportunities for everyone!
