*The best name games start with people sharing their names in pairs. People need to make at least one real connection to stick with a group. Think of ways people can connect on facebook or share their email with one person to build a stronger bond.

Activity to Engage Members:

Break into small groups of 3 - 6 people. Give each small group a big piece of paper and a marker. Give each group a topic or question to discuss, write out what was discussed, share with the group, take questions, and then hang on the wall. Topics or questions could include issues facing the group, what do we want to do this year? Why did you join this group? What do we want to learn/practice this year? Who could we partner with to learn or practice or goals in a new way? How can we show school spirit? etc.
