Read this SHORT article on some of the underlying issues of this week's protests in violence in response to the death of Freddie Gray.
To me, this identifies the situation as an adaptive challenge because the solution isn't easy, instant, or already in effect elsewhere. Adaptive Challenge is a term coined by Harvard's Ronald Heitfetz.
As I think some folks can be hesitant to have these conversations online, I encourage you to email this link to a friend and talk about it in person.
We did this in my PSYC 216 class last night and I thought it went pretty well.
