Graduate Coordinator for Student Involvement
The Graduate Coordinator will spend approximately 10 hours a week working with student organization management/support (recognition, registration, etc.) and 10 hours a week on special projects for the department. Ideal candidates are detail oriented, have experience creating/streamlining processes, have strong communication skills, and have experience with student organizations on college campuses (either having been involved as an undergraduate or having advised student organizations). Graduate students receive tuition remission and a stipend. This position can be a 9.5 or 12 month position and may be renewed for a second year. Graduate Coordinator for Cultural Programs
The Graduate Coordinator for Cultural Programs works out of Student Life's Mosaic Center focusing on outreach, support and event planning with and for our diverse student population.Experience working with students of Asian and South Asian American descent is strongly preferred. Ideal candidates are comfortable meeting new people and learning about/working with culturally diverse students, have event planning skills, and have the ability to help develop this newer position. This is a 20 hour a week assistantship that includes tuition remission and a stipend. The position may be a 9.5 or 12 month assistantship and may be renewed for a second year. Graduate Coordinator for Student Life Programming
The Graduate Coordinator will support student engagement on campus through working with event planning and fraternity and sorority life. Approximately 10 hours a week will be dedicated to supporting the student events board (SEB), summer/winter programs, and major campus events including Welcome Week, Homecoming, Winter Welcome Week and Quadmania. The other 10 hours a week will be focused on event planning and support of our 23 Greek chapters. Ideal candidates will have been involved with Greek Life as an undergraduate or graduate student, have experience with event planning, and be detail oriented and creative. This is a 12 month position and may be renewed for a second year. This 20 hour a week position includes tuition remission and a stipend.
