With the support of our IS Department Chair, I have begun to develop a social media presence for us (collective us: Faculty, Students, staff etc).  I have set up pages and begun to add content for Twitter, Flickr, and SlideShare.  Please come and check them out.  The handle is umbcinfosystems for all of them.  It would be great to have you guys follow on Twittter.  Of course, any ideas for content or other social media channels are welcome.  I will try to build content as quickly as possible (working with Dr. Gangopadhyay and the Faculty).  Please feel free to send posters, presentations, papers pictures or video (I set up a YouTube channel, but I don't have any content to post yet) that you think would represent the Department well.
