Mar 23rd Annapolis and Patapsco Valley State Park, MD – One month after its first race and first win of the season, UMBC Cycling found itself in the lead once again at the US Naval Academy Criterium. Riders Julian Paul and Darren Klinefelter placed 1st and 11th respectively in Men's D.

While the road team was finishing up in Annapolis, the mountain team took to the dirt in AFC's Sugar Hill in Patapsco Valley State Park. In their first ever mountain race, Steven Kim and Callen Riggins took 7th and 12th respectively in Men's Beginner while David Brinsfield (Alum: Officially racing under Team Awkward Bald Guy) placed 22nd in Men's Sport. Ryan Cunningham placed 28th in Men's Sport after suffering two flat tires and John Cservek (Alum) had to discontinue due to mechanical difficulties.
