Booz Allen Hamilton's Central Maryland office is again sponsoring a college technical challenge, and UMBC students are invited to participate. This year's theme is "Who has my phone?" Please see the attached flyer for dates, and teams of 1-4 students can sign up or request additional information by emailing the address on the flyer. Some additional details are below:
A team registered for the competition can expect to receive the specific details via email on October 1. The Case Competition will be held across several schools, including Rose-Hulman, Georgia Tech, University of Maryland – College Park, University of Maryland – Baltimore County, Loyola, and Johns Hopkins. In order to prevent teams from having more time to create solutions to the problem, we release the competition details at the same time for everyone.
Additionally, a team in the competition will be expected to submit a presentation that details their approach/solution to a technical problem by October 21. A software solution to the problem is not required but can be included. The winner of the competition will be the most creative and/or innovative solution to the problem, based on judging criteria that will also be made available on October 1.
