What programming languages have you found most useful?

Which one wold you take to a desert island?

We cover many programming languages in our core undergraduate courses including Python, Java, C, C++ and Scheme and touch on more in electives. Many students learn still more on their own or via special topics courses. Which one is your favorite and why?
