About This Group
The Caribbean Students Council of UMBC aims to:
1) sensitive and educate to the vibrant culture, social, and political heritage of the Caribbean.
2) serve as a meeting point, a real "home away from home," where all students can mingle in an atmosphere that evokes a Caribbean flavour.
3) plan educational and social events designed to supplement and expland the UMBC community's knowledge, awareness and sensitivity towards the Caribbean and its inhabitants.
myUMBC is a UMBC limited public community forum for information sharing and dialogue. As a public institution, UMBC generally may not limit a community member's right to free speech on this forum.
