Last week a CPS staff member questioned the changes that have taken place with Google Calendar.  I informed him that I noticed the changes and it seems to be appearance changes to the application.  In my experience, periodically Google implements new changes to their applications.  Sometimes they give a "trial" period where you can try out the new features before the changes become permanent.  For example currently if you visit Google Docs you will see a link that displays "Try the new look".  If you click on the link you will see a new look and feel of Google Docs.
