Some of you all may have seen this, but if not we wanted to make you aware of a feature in Google Calendar. There is a setting in Google Calendar in which if dates and or events are listed in Gmail then these events are automatically added to your calendar (see image attachment). For example if you get a confirmation email for some type of event or reservation (i.e. webinar, conference) and there is date and or time information in the message an event will be automatically placed in Google Calendar.
Some may like this and some may not. If this is an option you that you would like to keep activated then please do so and enjoy. If you would like to disable this feature then follow the directions under the "Stop adding events from Gmail automatically" heading in this link.
