Adjusting Screen Size and Resolution (Windows)

There are a couple different ways to adjust the screen size on Windows machines.

Windows 10/7

Method 1: Adjust screen resolution. This will affect everything on screen.

• Navigate to Start --> Control Panel --> Appearance and Personalization --> under Display select “Adjust Screen Resolution”

• In the resolution dropdown menu you may select the desired screen resolution.
• If you have multiple monitors you may also use the display dropdown menu to select which monitor you would like to change the resolution for.

Method 2: Adjust size of text and other elements. This will only affect certain aspects of the screen.

• Navigate to Start --> Control Panel --> Appearance and Personalization --> under Display select “Make text and other items larger or smaller”
• In this menu you may follow the directions under “Change size of items” or follow the directions under Change only the text size depending on what is desired.
