We in DPS IT have heard some folks (including in our IT group!) express that the Toolkit for Administrative Professionals (TAP) seems to be a great resource for information. This information is stored in the campus' wiki. We just wanted to make DPS aware that DPS also has a space in the wiki where if interested you can search for information as well as create documentation. One beauty of storing information in the campus wiki is that when doing a search your search can traverse information in DPS' space as well as information in other spaces such as TAP's space (there may be situations where security is configured for certain information so you make not be able to see everything). So when you get a chance take a look at DPS' wiki space as well as the other spaces such as the FAQ space in which DoIT is doing a great job of enlisting help from the UMBC community to add and update information.
DPS IT plans to conduct a session in August to give an overview of some tools available for use, so be on the look out for the announcement. As always if there are any questions please do not hesitate to contact DPS IT Systems.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!
Thanks,
DPS IT Systems
