Light Point Security ready to no longer be a one-two combo

Cyber startup Light Point Security is looking to grow from its two-person team and hire its first full-time employee.
Light Point is looking for a software developer to help grow new products and accelerate some of the features in its existing product, Light Point Web Enterprise.
“We want to find someone who has the right skill set and someone who is eager to learn and someone who can pick up the technical languages really quickly,” said Zuly Gonzalez, chief operating officer for Light Point. “We want somebody that’s looking for more than a job; someone who wants to be a part of a team who’s a startup," Gonzalez said.
Light Point, which launched in 2010, is based at bwtech@UMBC Research and Development Park. Gonzalez runs the company with Beau Adkins, who is CEO.
