Given the recent change in curriculum for BioCoM majors and the general confusion that most students have with trying to meet all of the pre-requisites on time, would you think that it would be a good idea to have an adviser from the Biological Sciences department speak at a meeting?  (Old members:  last year, we had an adviser speak.  Did you find this useful?)
