Is morality rational?
Why or why not?

I'd just like to say that this is not an assignment, I am seriously interested in what you have to say. If possible, please define "morality and "rational" in your explanation. If you need sources or ideas, look to Kant, Thomas Aquinas, Aristotle, Socrates, Nietzsche, David Hume, Hobbes, Locke or just about any other philosopher ever. Its a common question, everyone has an opinion, time to voice yours.
Oh and I will try to argue as well as I can against any position you take and I invite everyone else to do the same. Even if you agree with the poster, do your best to rip apart their argument.
In response to the sentiment expressed below, I will give a very broad definition of morality to make everyone happy.
morality distinguishes good and bad behavior.
morality distinguishes good and bad behavior.
Acting rationally is acting in accordance with reason.
Anything further is on you. Happy now?
