I am not even going to talk about parking ( how much fees do we pay and how awful parking experience we get in return). My main concern of this discussion is the athletic fee for Fall 2013. The athletic fee is around $300 a semester which is almost $100 a month. A $100 a month!! was way too much for the small and useless weight room we had before but I stopped complaining long time ago so I just use whatever we have to work out. But now guess what the weight room is closed for almost 3 weeks and now one knows exact date for reopening. The varsity weight room is open with very limited hours so basically we are paying for nothing. I don't know about you, but I work my butt off as a waiter to get money for school. I just can't see how is it fair for me to give my hard-earned money for a service that is not there to use!! Yes we wanted a better weight room and thank you for responding but NOT in the MIDDLE of the Fall semester where everyone is using it. You could have easily finished all the renovating over the summer instead of doing all these new roads by the pool. All I want is somewhere for me to work out so if your weight room is closed, give us back our money so we can sign up for a gym off campus that is actually open!
