Eating in Buildings
What is Your Stance?

Alright. Finding a seat with a table in the Commons or in the 1st floor of the University Center is a hassle. The 2nd floor isn't as much of a hassle, but there still might be people gathering at their tables; same goes for the 3rd floor and the 1st floor of the library (although there might be more space). Outside is an option... one chosen by many other students. Sometimes, even if you are able to get food, you can't find a good seat. Sometimes you're stuck to a bench or a couch or some place where people complain about mice or cockroaches. So I'm going to preach a little (and then I'll move on): please clean up after yourself as much as possible, especially if you do have access to a table. I don't know how often the cleaning staff cleans the tables, but come on, I would like the places to be sanitary.
I know in one class the instructor had to heavily clean the rooms because it was infested with mice. As a result, she prohibited food (but allowed drinks) - well, it was a laboratory class, so why would I eat food in there in the first place... but hey, mice are a big problem. But then what about outside of labs? What about the halls within the academic buildings or within the lecture halls? It is not unheard of to see people eating lunch in Lecture Hall 2 or Lecture Hall 1, and mice have been reported in Lecture Hall 2 in years past.
What do you all think about eating food in buildings? I'm sure if you leave food outside, the mice, squirrels, and cockroaches will eat it, but what if you left it outside?
