My name is Niki Weller, last year I started a new student org. with my friend Yasmin that helps raise money for children in Tibet, China. What we do is host events on and off campus to raise money to send their way. In providing them with a little extra money, more children will be able to go to school, have proper nutrition, and potentially break a cycle of impoverishment. I am in regular contact with Devin Gonier who is the Shambala Fellowship Program Manager in China. Devin and Shambala members skype and he shares whats going on with the children as he works with them firsthand. This club is a blast and it is really rewarding as well. Right now we are trying to expand our club and gain new members to further our success.
