I plan to rent an apartment at Cedar Run, since the rooms are really nice, but some people are telling me that it's not a safe neighborhood.  I have also been told that no other UMBC students live there, although that would be strange considering that the development is along the UMBC shuttle line.

Does anyone live in or know about the apartments?  How safe do you feel living there?  Are there other UMBC students in the apartment development?  I need to make a decision soon, so all input is appreciated.
