How Do I Drop a Class

just wondering how i go about dropping a class before the deadline so i get a "W" on my transcript which i can replace when i take the class over the summer at a community college.
do i go to "classes & grades" under the topics tab on myUMBC then click drop classes and select the class i want to drop? is that all?
