Stinkbugs

How many of you guys have been getting swarmed by stinkbugs the last few years? I know they're getting worst on campus and definitely getting worst near my apartments. The inner city areas were pretty good, but I can see it starting to spread there too.
It'll be worst this year. MUCH WORST.
I remember the first time I saw a stinkbug. I sprayed Raid on it and it didn't die, just slowed down. So I stepped on it and it didn't get smooshed like normal bugs. Once I managed to kill the thing, I scooped it into a plastic baggy, thinking I discovered a new species. That was like 2007. I didn't see another one until the next year, and then they exploded! Last year I would sometimes have like 10 or 20 of them just chilling in my front room. It was so bad our vacuum cleaner has a permanent stinkbug smell. GRR!
Apparently people are working on bringing tiny parasitic wasps over to America to prey on the stinkbugs. But the research and paperwork needed to bring them over won't be complete until 2013. That's a long time to wait!
So how do we cope until then? Someone told me to try peppermint oil so I'll be trying that this year. What about you? Any ideas? What are your stinkbug stories?
