I almost wept for joy when it was announced about a month ago that we were gonna have a Superman/Batman movie coming out in 2015. I couldn't believe that I was going to finally see something this epic in a movie. But when things appear perfect, something must always go wrong inexplicably.

What's wrong? well it's been revealed that Ben Affleck is going to be Batman in this movie. WHAT???

As a Batman fan, I found this news shocking and rather upsetting. My initial reaction was to ask why Zack Snyder and Warner Bros would want to ruin everything by casting an average actor (my own opinion) to play one of the most iconic characters in a movie that has the potential to be the biggest hit of all time.

Almost everyone has been bashing this decision but I now remember the same thing happened when Heath Ledger was cast as the Joker and we all know the riveting performance he gave.

I'd say we all should wait and watch the movie before criticizing this decision. Its gonna be hard to do so but maybe, just maybe Mr 'Gigli' and 'Daredevil' deserves another chance to impress. Or maybe not!
