What if you had a party, and nobody showed up?

I'm a big supporter of diversity of thought. And so I read with interest that there was an ex-gay pride event at the Supreme Court, my curiosity was piqued.
The organizers, a group called "Voice of the Voiceless" predicted that thousands would be descending on Washington for this rally, yesterday.
How many showed up? Was it hundreds? Thousands?
(Hint: the press corps was almost as large).
Answer: Ten.
So....when you throw a party, and no one shows up, is it them? Or is it you?
I dunno. Maybe they should have brought food.
By contrast, on a cold March day, a few hundred showed up to rally for marriage equality at the same location. (Though I heard they had donuts.)
