Hello!
Im not sure if everyone is familiar with TED Talks or the new TEDxBaltimore but they are an organization that holds annual conferences in different cities around the world featuring many inspirational speakers who share stories and and talk about "Ideas worth spreading" (Their slogan). TEDxBaltimore has decided to try out "TED adventures" which are smaller talks in a more intimate setting where the speaker and the audience can interact and engage in conversations and ask/answer questions.
I've been volunteering for TEDxBaltimore and am actually organizing my own TED Adventure for artists. My goal is to have between 3-6 artists (aspiring and established and of all mediums) speak about themselves as an artist, inspiring/encouraging stories about their journey and share their work. I am hoping to offer a space for artists to interact, learn from each other and gain some sort of insight or encouragement.

I am interested in knowing how many people would want to attend this event if I can get a space to hold it on the UMBC campus?!
