Mexico is #1 (Populous Country) in Obesity Rates
United States is Dethroned from 1st Place!

So, who would think United States would get dethroned from rank #1 in obesity rates? Who would think Mexico would take the #1 spot? Well, CNN's article states that Mexico's rate is 33%, compared to the US's 31.8%. That said, it looks as though this change in ranking isn't much good news for the US; even with increased exercise, obesity rates haven't fallen by much.
It seems as though increasingly sedentary lifestyles and high-calorie, and low-cost, processed foods have contributed to this situation. It looks as though Mexican children are also feeling the brunt of obesity as well.
It also looks as though obesity rates are rising worldwide. Looks like we might need wider doorways, larger chairs, and bus doors. Or hopefully we won't need to.
